      We are looking for an outstanding A-level Sociology Lecturer who is highly motivated, student focused and has strong interpersonal skills to join the A-level department. You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy Sociology, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.

       

      The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a teaching qualification and have experience of delivering A-level Sociology. Teaching delivery will be over 3 or 4 working days (dependent on timetabling).

    • FA Women's Football Apprentice

    • £7,000 per annum

      30 hours per week & 7.5 hours per week classroom based learning

      12 month fixed term contract

      An opportunity exists for an Apprentice to join Hartpury University & Hartpury College (Hartpury) working on promoting Women & Girls Football at Hartpury and within the local community. This is a joint venture between Hartpury and, the English Colleges Football Association (ECFA). In line with the Football Association’s (FA) Gameplan for Growth the primary role of the post is to contribute to the doubling of both the participation & fan base of Women’s & Girl’s football. You will be tasked with engaging 100 girls/women in the game who are new to football both in the college and local community.

       

      Based at Hartpury, your working week will be spent managing projects, planning and delivering events such as FA Girls’ Football Week, meeting with local football stakeholders, recruiting and managing female football volunteers to help deliver activity, delivering football activity to college students and primary/secondary school students, all the while monitoring and evaluating your work. At the same time, you will undertake a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration at Gloucestershire College.

       

      This post will involve working alongside the Sports Development & Physical Activity Co-Ordinator to grow the amount of women & girls regularly playing football. There is also the opportunity for the apprentice to work with the Women’s Football Academy Manager gaining experience of working with our elite athletes. The successful applicant must be available to attend a national training event on 20th – 22nd August 2019. The venue is yet to be confirmed (expenses are covered).

      Our catering staff provide a service to our students during term time and to visitors and guests at events and during holiday periods. You will work as part of a busy team in Hartpury’s kitchen, venues and cafes across the campus. Delivering excellent customer service, you will assist with the preparation of meals, food service, dish washing, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering.

       

      A Food Hygiene Certificate is required, however, Hartpury will fund and organise this training, should you not currently hold this.       We are looking to appoint a new member of staff to join a dynamic team, teaching students on our Further Education animal-related courses at levels two and three. The successful applicant will be driven and self-motivated and integral in maintaining the high standards set within the department.  You will need to have a thorough knowledge of a wide range of animals and have good links with industry.

       

      You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy Animal Management, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.  In addition, you will be a personal tutor, advising and guiding individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations.

       

      Ideally, you will possess an HND or equivalent qualification in Animal Science/Management or a related subject and have a teaching qualification, although this is not essential and if our chosen candidate does not have a teaching qualification, our comprehensive staff development scheme will support this.
