      About the Role

       

      ·       The Dean of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience provides strategic vision and academic leadership and implements activities supporting our students’ academic experience.

      ·       Reporting to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and working in collaboration with the Academic Registrar and Dean of Research and Knowledge Exchange, staff and academic departments, the post holder will support our endeavours to deliver a high quality, inclusive and consistent academic experience for all students, enhancing student engagement, academic outcomes and well-being.

      About the Role

       

      ·       You will be expected to deliver exceptional coaching on our BTEC Level 3 Rugby programme which will assist students to become better, fitter and more well-rounded players

      ·       You will be expected to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of rugby, you will instill in them a passion for the game and a desire to develop their understanding 

      ·       You will help run a rugby team one afternoon per week (with another member of FE Rugby staff), accompanying students to home and away fixtures to enrich the student experience

      ·       This is an ideal opportunity to use as a stepping stone in the future, to potentially deliver some classroom based sessions

       

      About You

       

      ·       You will possess a demonstrable interest and background in rugby playing and/or coaching

      ·       A holder of a rugby coaching qualification would be advantageous

      ·       You will contribute to an extensive growing animal collection, providing a high standard of animal resource for all animal related practical activity serving the curriculum and industry skills needs, of both university and college students.

      ·       Match Day preparation of the main Rugby Pitch for RFC fixtures.

      ·       Support the Team during annual pitch renovations.

      ·     Setting out and marking off pitches, grass cutting, hedge trimming, border care, maintenance of boundary fencing and other general landscape maintenance duties.

      ·       Using varied equipment providing a clean and attractive environment for students, staff and visitors.

      ·       Ensure that all machinery and equipment is cared for, cleaned and put away in a safe manner.

      About You

      ·       You must be adaptable, and be able to orgainse your time to ensure that tight deadlines are met.

      ·       You should have good knowledge and practical ability working across a range of sports surfaces, grounds maintenance tasks and machinery.

      ·       Previous grounds person experience and a qualification in sports turf management is essential.

      About the Role

       

      ·       You will be a key member of the Innovation, Careers and Enterprise (ICE) student work placement administration team.

      ·       You will act as a point of contact for placement students & tutors and manage all documentation effectively. 

      ·       Maintaining good relationships and advising student placement employers, academic tutors and students will form an important part of your daily role, whilst ensuring that databases and record systems supporting work placements are accurately updated. 

      ·       You will be a valuable member of the wider Innovation Careers & Enterprise team contributing to various student related events such as careers fairs, open days and employer engagement activities.

       

      About You

       

      ·       You will be computer literate, organised, and able to work methodically and accurately.

      ·       You will demonstrate a professional, tactful and customer focused approach to all aspects of your work.

      ·       You will have the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment and communicate with all levels of staff, students and industry partners in a confident and knowledgeable manner.

      About the Role

       

      ·       You will be responsible for the management, performance and development of the coaching, training and playing programmes for female football and futsal academy players.

      ·       You will be accountable for the development of football and futsal at Hartpury as well as achieving prominence in national competitions.

       

      About You

       

      ·       You will have a proven track record in football and developing individuals in an elite sporting environment.

      ·       You will hold a Level 2 coaching qualification and/or a Level 3 (UEFA B) coaching qualification.

      ·       Ideally, you will have experience of elite athlete coaching and working with football performance athletes.
