The overall effectiveness of leadership and management, the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and the 16-19 study programmes all received the highest grade from Ofsted.

     

    A position in the Hartpury Equine Further Education team has arisen for a full time Equine Lecturer, to teach students on a variety of Further Education horse management courses, and predominantly the science units.  The role will involve tutoring a group of Level 3 Horse Management students, as well as teaching both theory and practical BTEC horse management units at level 3.

     

    We are looking for a team player who is highly motivated and forward thinking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching, which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of equine and science, instilling in them a passion for the subjects and a desire to develop their understanding.

     

    You will need to be qualified at degree level within an equine related subject and hold a minimum qualification of BHS Stage 2 Teach, but Stage 3 Coach / BHSAI preferable. A teaching qualification and experience in delivering BTEC qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
